When Danger’s Near… There’s DNCAP!
With the COVID-19 Pandemic in full effect, DNCAP created its own emergency preparedness Programming with persons with disabilities in mind. DNCAP hired Community Resilience Coordinator Maria Paton-Glassbrook to build the program from scratch to help persons with disabilities address the dangers of not only COVID-19, but the everyday dangers of fires, falls, accessibility, and planning ahead for emergencies.
