For individuals with disabilities, entering and exiting houses can pose challenges, especially due to obstacles such as steps. Accessibility is crucial for everyone, and with an increasing number of people requiring assistance, prioritizing accessibility is imperative.

  • Mayor Andy Schor and Roberto Briseno, of Michigan State University, will be speaking.  The Accessibility Award will be presented to PLAY MICHIGAN!, Lansing’s amazing new accessible playground.

To show their support of accessibility, Mayor Andy Schor and Roberto Breseno, representative of MSU’s Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities, will be speaking at the upcoming May 15, 2024 event. Both the City of Lansing and Michigan State University support the campaign initiative. They wish to recognize the PLAY MICHIGAN! team for their significant contribution to the Lansing community.
