CACIL CREATES Open Art Studio was developed to provide opportunities in the visual arts for individuals with disabilities. Using a variety of mediums including acrylics, charcoal, pastels and collage; we offer a fun, supportive and non-competitive environment where participants can unleash their creative side. Art supplies are provided but students may also bring their own canvases and supplies. A suggested donation of $5.00 is appreciated however, not required.

Advocacy is an important piece to Independent Living. When you advocate for yourself or ask someone to advocate for you, it means that you are taking an active role in the decision-making process. This 8-week class is designed to help participants understand more about advocacy and how you can become more involved in the decision-making process. This class will meet once a week for 8 weeks.
