Disability Network Capital Area (Lansing) 901 E. Mt. Hope Avenue, Lansing, United States

Come to DNCAP and learn the basics of computer use. Led by Travis L. Poland and Jeffery Spangler, we will spend time working one-on-one with participants to help them achieve their individual goals for half the class, and then in the second half of the class, we will focus on working on projects together as a group to teach particular fundamental tasks with a computer. Eligible participants may receive a Chromebook for use if they do not own a computer. You must be pre-approved by DNCAP to be eligible for a Chromebook. If interested in participating in the class, please contact Travis L. Poland (517-999-7537).

Open Art is a social skill-building group that meets on Tuesday mornings. Students are allowed to bring their own art supplies and projects from home to work on here at the DNCAP office with their peers or use the provided supplies from DNCAP. The goal of the group is to build social connections and explore your creative characteristics.   Please contact Bri Ryder to register and to communicate any accommodation needs you may have. Accommodation requests must be received 2 days before the class begins. Contact Bri Ryder at 517-999-7518 or by email at [email protected] if you have any questions.
